William Allen Mccormick's Obituary
William Allen McCormick, 42, of Cambridge, Kansas, passed away Thursday evening, October 3, 2013, at his home.
Born October 10, 1970, in Wellington, Kansas, he was the son of William Henry and Linda Elaine (Westhoff) McCormick. He was raised and received his education in Wellington. After school he began working in the roofing business and worked in Arkansas City for Powers Roofing.
He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and spending time with his friends and family.
His family includes:
His parents: William and Linda McCormick of Cambridge;
His son: Jacob McCormick of Arkansas City;
His daughter: Willow McCormick of Cambridge;
His brother: Jeff McCormick and wife, Sandra of Arkansas City;
His sister: Alisha Collins and husband, Mike of Guyton, GA;
His 3 nieces, and many aunts uncles and cousins.
In addition to his grandparents William was preceded in death by his aunt Diane Shirkey.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in William's name for the American Diabetes Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
