Wayne A. Pyles, 94, passed away February 17, 2023.
Wayne was born June 18, 1928, in Frederick, Oklahoma. He proudly served in the US Navy as a Gunner's Mate on the USS Mink during World War II. He also served during the Korean War. Wayne was a lifelong salesman but the most important thing to him was his family. He loved classic country music, the Kansas City Chiefs and his dogs. Wayne never missed an opportunity to tell his children or his grandchildren that they were one of his favorite people.
Wayne was preceded in death by his mother, three brothers and his son Evan. Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Norma Jean; their three daughters: Pamela Flores, Linda Pyles and Kathy Bifford; nine grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren; three daughters from his previous marriage: Sheila Vincent and her husband John, Deb Brogan and Brenda Wilson; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will take place at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
