Obituary

WANDA D. DONLEY, 82, of Andover, Kansas, previously a longtime resident of Rock, Kansas, and then Winfield passed away Monday afternoon, October 16, 2017 at Victoria Falls, Andover.

Born April 21, 1935 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of E. Leo Bradbury and Laura (Jensen) Bradbury. As the daughter of two Methodist ministers she was raised at many locations throughout the state of Kansas. She graduated from Linn Rural High School in 1953.
After high school, Wanda attended Southwestern College in Winfield and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in 1957.
Wanda was united in marriage to Donald "Don" Donley on July 12, 1957 at Grace United Methodist Church in Winfield. The couple made their first home in Manhattan for two years, then moved to Louisburg for seven years. They made their home in Rock, Kansas for 44 years, and moved to Winfield in 2010.
Wanda was a 1 st and 2 nd grade teacher as well as a substitute teacher and librarian. For many years she was housewife and helper to her husband on the farm in Rock.
She was a member of Prairie View, Grandview and Grace United Methodist Church's. She was always very active in the churches she attended specifically the United Methodist Women's group. She also enjoyed singing and sang in the church choir at Grandview.

Her sons: David Donley and wife, Gail of Fort Worth, TX; Mark Donley and wife, Leah of Andover, KS; and Brad Donley and wife, Toma of Tyler, TX;
Her sisters Neva Woerner of Greeley, CO Mona Booth and husband Clyde of Tecumseh, KS
Her grandchildren: Justin Donley and wife, Shannon; Michelle Donley; Tabitha Donley; Adam Donley; Mara Donley; Luke Donley; Paul Donley; and Calvin Donley.

Wanda was preceded in death by husband Donald, her parents, E. Leo and Laura Bradbury, and her granddaughter, Elizabeth Hope Donley.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday October 21st at 10:00 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service.  Private inurnment will take place at Stalter Cemetery.
Memorials have been established in Wanda's name for Grace United Methodist Church and for the Cumbernauld Village Employee Fund. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
