Walter James Geisler, 25, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday, November 19, 2017 at his home.
Born July 25, 1992 in Sault St. Marie, Michigan, he was the son of Theodore Peter and Mary Elaine (Lewey) Geisler.  He was raised and received his education in Hessel and Detour, Michigan.  After school, he moved with his sister to Janesville, Wisconsin where he began working in construction.  Walter later moved to Winfield, Kansas to be near his brother and continued working in construction.  In 2015, he began working at Creekstone in the maintenance department.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting, working on cars and drawing.  He was an amazing brother and son and was filled with compassion.

His brother:  Theodore Joel Geisler of Winfield; Dan Marcum of Winfield;
His maternal grandfather:  Walter Lewey of Panama, IL; and
Many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Walter was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Peter and Dorothy Geisler, his maternal grandmother, Terance Lewey and his aunt, Grace Geisler.
Private family services will be held at a later date.  Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
