VIRGINIA "JINNY" R. CLOCK, 67, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday morning, February 6, 2008 at her home.
Born on September 21, 1940 in Webster Groves, Missouri, she was the daughter of Dr. Norman C. and Martha Elaine (Murch) Edwards. She was raised and received her education in Webster Groves where she graduated in 1958. She later attended Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri where she studied commercial art. She was employed with Universal Match Corporation in St. Louis as a commercial artist.
She was united in marriage to Robert L. Clock on September 5, 1964 in Webster Groves, Missouri. The couple moved to Lawrence, Kansas and she was employed as a commercial artist at Centron Movie Studios. In 1967 they moved to Winfield and purchased Snyders Pharmacy in 1971. Jinny and Robert formed Clock Medical Supply and she was CFO and co-owner. She was a dedicated homemaker as well.
Jinny was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Winfield. She was also involved in the Agalaen Club, bridge and Gammi Phi Beta. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, shopping and painting with all types of media. Other hobbies included spending decades of time volunteering and supporting the Winfield Swim Club with both her children and grandchildren.

Her grandchildren: Lauren, Marley, Blakely and Mikayley.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, February 9, 2008 at the First United Methodist Church in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M., Friday, February 8, 2008. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., that evening.
A memorial has been established in Jinny's name for the Winfield Swim Club. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
