Treva M. Reams, 80, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away early Saturday morning, April 3, 2021 at Winfield Senior Living.

Born June 7, 1940 in Wichita, Kansas, she was the daughter of Bert and Edith (Ayers) Harris.  She was raised and received her education in Wichita, graduating from Wichita East High School in 1958.

Treva was united in marriage to Paul Arthur Reams on August 17, 1958 in Wichita.  The couple made their first home in Peck, Kansas. They lived in California for a short time while Paul was in the United States Navy. After his honorable discharge, the couple returned to Peck where they remained until moving to Winfield in 1981. Treva was a faithful wife, mother, and homemaker. She enjoyed taking care of and spending time with her animals. She also enjoyed making jewelry and crafts, that she would sell at the flea market. Paul preceded Treva in death on August 8, 2019.

Her family includes her son Alvin "Gene" Reams and wife, Sheila of Winfield; her sister Tura Burnett of Wichita; her grandchildren, Calvin Reams and wife, Christy of Winfield; Kyle Reams and wife, Alicia of Derby; Cassy Kent and husband, Jesse of Mulvane; and her eight great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Treva was preceded in death by her half-sister Shirley Jean Harris.

The family will hold private memorial services at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.
