Treva Gayle Daniels, 86, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday morning, May 22, 2024, at her home.

Born November 18, 1937, in Winfield, she was the daughter of Finis and Ruth (Day) Radcliff.  She was raised and received her education in Dexter until moving with her family to Winfield during high school.  Treva graduated from Winfield High School in 1956.

She was united in marriage to Donald D. Daniels on June 1, 1956, in Miami, Oklahoma.  The couple made their first home in Pittsburg while Don attended school and Treva worked at the local hospital.  They would spend the next 20 plus years living in many towns in Kansas while Don pursued his career as a coach.  Treva was a loving homemaker that supported Don and raised the couple's children.  In 1978, the couple returned to Winfield.  After retiring, they spent ten years as snowbirds traveling between Texas and Kansas.  Don preceded her in death on February 12, 2022.

She was a member of the Dexter Christian Church.  She enjoyed working puzzles and gardening.

Her family includes her sons, Allen Daniels and wife, Marti; David Daniels; Paul Daniels and Cindy; her sister Norma Jean Pyles; her grandchildren, Shane Niehoff, Harley Daniels, David Daniels, Dustin Daniels, Levi Daniels, Amanda Coon, Bionca (Austin) Keesey, Alexsa Coon, Michael Daniels; and 12 great grandchildren.

Treva was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 1, 2024,  at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established in Treva's name for the Dexter Christian Church.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
