Obituary

TREVA LOUISE BLACK, 71, of Livingston, Texas, and formerly of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2013 at her home.

Born on September 4, 1941 in Carthage, Missouri, she was the daughter of Hershel and Evelyn (Richardson) Prier. She received her education in Winfield and graduated from Winfield High School.

Treva resided in Winfield for 53 years and was employed at General Electric. She was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Cleveland, Texas. She enjoyed spending time with her family and reading.

Her family includes:
Her sons: Hershel Allen Pike and wife Donna of Livingston, TX; and Kenneth Black of Wellington, KS;
Her daughter: Evelyn Price and husband Rick of Winfield, KS;
Her brother: Ronald Prier and wife Alice of Mathistion, MS;
Her grandchildren: Brian and Sara Pike, Jason Pike, Jessica Pike and her daughter, Payton, Richard Price, Amy Price, Heather Wolensky, Crystal McBride, Erica Lewis, Shawn Black, Andrea Black, Sandra Culliton, Travis Black, Trevor Black, Mitchell McKibben and Ben Black;
And several great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Steven Black, and her sister, Shirley Lee.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, January 16, 2013 at Highland Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in Treva's name for the American Lung Association. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
