Tina Gayle Lewis, 68, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday evening, July 25, 2024, at William Newton Hospital.

Born October 29, 1955, in Castro Valley, California, she was the daughter of Kirby Odell and Betty Ruth (Hull) McKee.  She was raised and received her education in Sedan, Kansas, graduating from Sedan High School in 1974.  As a teenager, Tina worked in her parents' cafe, The Holly.

She was united in marriage to Ralph "Ed' Edward Lewis on June 15, 1974, in Sedan.  Tina worked at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center until they closed in 1998.  She then went to work for ADM Milling, retiring in 2018.  Ed preceded her in death on November 16, 2017.

Tina enjoyed going to garage sales with her friend Cindy.  She especially loved animals and spending time with her grandchildren.

Her family includes her son Darin Lewis and wife, Sabrina of Winfield; her daughter Vicky Lewis of Winfield; her grandchildren, Lilly Jones, Braedyn Weeks, Ava Lewis, and Edward Weeks; and her sister Pam Olmsted of Winfield.

In addition to her parents and husband, Tina was preceded in death by a half sister Diane Cox.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, August 1, 2024, at Miles Funeral Service.  Interment will follow next to her husband at Riley Memorial Cemetery east of Sedan.  A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M.  The family will greet visitors from 4 to 6 that evening.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to benefit Tina's grandchildren's education.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
