Timothy Allen "Tim" Snell, 62, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Sunday evening, January 19, 2025, in Geuda Springs.

Born December 3, 1962, in Brainerd, Minnesota, he was the son of Gerald and Kathleen (Banks) Snell.  Tim's parents were ministers so the family moved a lot.  They lived in Minnesota, Oklahoma, and Virginia, and settled in Kansas in 1979.  Tim served in the United States Army in Texas and received an honorable discharge.

He married Sharla and the couple had two daughters and divorced.  He later married Cassandra Reeves.  The couple had a son and later divorced.  Tim worked in production at Rubbermaid.  He also worked as an over the road truck driver, driving all over the United States.  The only two states he did not travel to are Alaska and Hawaii.

His family includes his daughters, Sharla Rodema of Thorton, CO; Tiffany Robinson and husband, Matthew of Albuquerque, NM; his son Taylor Snell of Winfield; his adopted daughter Elisha Reeves of Los Angeles, CA; his sisters, Kimberly Mapel and husband, Bob of Geuda Springs; Crystal Snell of Winfield; his three grandchildren, Julianna Rodema, Reyce Rodema, and Nolan Robinson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by a sister Anita Ioppolo.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5 to 8 P.M.  The family will greet visitors during this time.

A memorial has been established in Tim's name for the American Diabetes Association.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
