Timothy Martin Bloznik, age 75, passed away on Thursday, July 19, 2018, in Wichita, Kansas. Tim was born on August 20, 1942 in Kansas City, Kansas to Joseph Martin and Audrey Verlene (Hicks) Bloznik. He graduated from Piper High School, then became a Marine, where he met some of his lifetime friends while on active duty. Tim was a gunsmith and loved to pass on his knowledge to his grandsons and great nephews. He used his technical knowledge as a technician at Kelly Manufacturing Company building inverters for aircraft instruments.
Survivors include his grandsons Jake, Rob and Quinten, his sisters Judy (Chuck) Chowins and JoAnn (Carl) Kelly, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Martin (Shannon) David Bloznik, and his nephew, Matthew Joseph Kelly.
Memorial and Military Committal Honors will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will be held at a later date at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery at Winfield.
