THOMAS RAY KIDD, 54, of Burden, Kansas, passed away Tuesday morning, May 5, 2015 due to injuries from an automobile accident.
Born on June 26, 1960 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Edmon B. and Salley J. (Bristow) Kidd Sr. He was raised and received his education in Burden and graduated from Burden High School in 1979. He later complete a diesel mechanic course at Salina, Kansas.
Thomas had worked in construction all of his life. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, fishing, collecting antiques, and attending the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival.

His sisters: Ellen Chamness and husband Jim of El Dorado, KS; and Rosalie Hopper and husband Mike of Burden, KS; and
His 6 grandchildren.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 9, 2015 at the Atlanta Cemetery in Atlanta, Kansas. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Friday, May 8, 2015. Miles Funeral Service in Winfield are in charge of the arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Mr. Kidd's name to help with funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
