Thelma "Louise" Robles, 63, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday evening, May 27, 2010 at her home.
Born March 8, 1947 in Columbus, Indiana, she was the daughter of Roy and Hattie (Hughes) Sluder. She was raised and received her education in Columbus.
In 1966 Louise moved with her family to Montana. She began working in the Home Health Care Industry and continued there until 1996. She then moved to Oregon to be near her daughter. While in Oregon Louise attended Oregon Institute of Technology, and worked as a cook at the YMCA. In 2004 she moved to Winfield to be near her other daughter. While in Winfield she served as the Treasurer of the Walnut Towers Activities Committee.
She enjoyed working on Sudoko puzzles, reading, playing card games and especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends.

Her daughters: Lori Findorff and husband, Dennis of Chinook, MT; Linda Hawk of Winfield, KS; Maria Smith of Arkansas City, KS;
Her sister: Wanda Way and husband, Harold of Colorado Springs, CO;
Her brother: Robert Sluder and wife, Karen of Columbus, IN;
Her grandchildren: Stephen, Whitney, Ashley, Peyton, Jerry, Morgan and Gus; and
Her many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Louise was preceded in death by two sisters, Sylvetta Sluder, and Francis Sluder.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, May 30, 2010 at 7:00 P.M. at Walnut Towers in Winfield.
A memorial has been established in Louise's name for Hospice Care of Kansas. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
