Terry Lynn Seaman, 64, of Udall, Kansas, passed away Sunday morning, March 2, 2014 at Riverview Manor in Oxford, Kansas.
Born October 23, 1949, in Borger, Texas, he was the son of Lee and Barbara (Ferguson) Seaman. He was raised in Borger and later Udall. He graduated from Udall Rural High School and attended Cowley County Community College in Arkansas City, Kansas.
In the early 1960's he began working summers for Bob Sherrard in Winfield and learned the plumbing trade. He served in the Navy for four years as an aircraft mechanic between 1970 and 1974. After a brief stint as a Navy contractor he returned to work for Bob Sherrard before starting his own plumbing business. He moved to Salina where he attended the Salina Vo-Tech school before going to work for Great Plains Manufacturing, as a draftsman until his retirement several years ago.
He enjoyed gardening, fishing, and tinkering in his shop.

His brother: Ken Seaman and wife, Kathy of Wichita;
His daughters: Heather Wills of Winfield; Danielle Widener and husband, Dustin of Winfield;
His grandchildren: Marcus Swisher; Kyle Swisher; Kamron Moore; Devin Stewart; Mikayla Widener; Mason Widener; and
One niece and four nephews.
Terry was preceded in death by his father Lee Olen Seaman.
Graveside memorial services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Friday, March 7, 2014, at the Kansas Veterans' Cemetery in Winfield. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Terry's name for River Cross Hospice. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
