TERRY H. KRUG, 55, of Carney, Oklahoma passed from this life September 11, 2013 after a 20 month courageous battle with Glioblastoma (Stage IV brain cancer).
He was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on June 23, 1958 to Harold Author Krug and Delores (Williams) Krug.
Terry was a longtime resident of Burden and Winfield, Kansas. He attended school in Burden where he participated in all sports and was an exceptional football player. He traveled all over the United States working with his father as a welder and in the 1970's, Terry trained under John McBeth to become a bronc rider. Later he actively team roped. He loved horses.
He was united in marriage to Billie on December 11, 1992 in Winfield. Terry went to work for former Gott Corp, now Rubbermaid, from 1984 to 2007. He worked his way up from a WHSE driver to D&T Manager. He moved his family to Carney, Oklahoma in late 2007 to be closer to his children.
He was working as a warehouse supervisor for Cameron Corporation when he was diagnosed in January 2012.
He was preceded in death by his father, Harold and his grandparents.
He leaves behind:
His wife: Billie Krug of the home;
His sons: Frank Alsip and family of Piedmont, Oklahoma; Travis Krug of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Cody Joe Krug of Alva, Oklahoma;
His daughters: Kellie Hepplar and family of Ponca City, Oklahoma; Tannah Abernathy and family of Perkins, Oklahoma;
His 10 grandchildren;
His mother: Delores Krug of Burden, Kansas;
His brother: Vernon Krug and family of Dell, Montana; and
Many friends and family who cherished him.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Private family inurnment will take place at a later date.
A Memorial has been established in Terry's name for the Musella Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
