Terry Dean Cassiday, 55, of Arkansas City, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 8, 2024 at his home while surrounded by his family.

Born December 11, 1968 in Enid, Oklahoma, he was the son of Dwayne and Ruth (Teders) Cassiday.  Terry was raised and received his education in Fairfax, Oklahoma and attended Pioneer Vo-Tech.

Terry was united in marriage to LeAnn Seck on September 14, 1991 in Arkansas City.  The couple made their home in Ark City.  Terry worked at Rubbermaid and also owned and operated Terry's Place.  He retired in July 2023.

His family includes his wife LeAnn Cassiday; his children, Cameron (Mariah) Cassiday; Cody Cassiday; Courtnee Cassiday; his parents, Dwayne and Ruth Cassiday; his siblings, Darin (Stephanie) Cassiday; Melissa (Ty) Admire; Michelle (Ronnie) Davis; Tammy (Billy) Cassiday; eight grandchildren; and seven nieces and nephews.

Terry was preceded in death by four grandparents.

The family will hold a celebration of life at 12:00 noon, Saturday, September 21, 2024, at the Burford Theatre in Arkansas City.  A reception will follow across the street at Terry's Place.  Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.

A memorial has been established in Terry's name for the Terry Cassiday Memorial Tournament.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
