Tammy L. Spengler, 44, formerly of Winfield, passed away Thursday evening, November 5, 2009, at her daughters home in Wichita.

Born November 1, 1965 in Hollywood, California, she was the daughter of Arthur and Clarice (Mace) Berrett. As a child she traveled all over the country with her family.

Tammy was united in marriage to Rick Spengler on August 23, 1980 in Burden, Kansas. The couple made their home and raised their children in the Winfield area. Tammy worked in medical records at NCS Health Care. In 1998 she moved to Grayson, Kentucky, to help start a new office for NCS.

She enjoyed dancing, collecting Dreamcicles, and going out dancing with friends.

Her mother: Clarice Berrett of Palm Springs, CA;
Her brothers: David Berrett and wife, Amber of Palm Springs, CA; Lee Berrett and wife, Arlen of Palm Springs, CA;
Her sisters: Cindy Segovia, and husband Gilbert of Cathedral, CA; Laura Berrett of Ontario, CA; and
Her grandchildren: Dakota, Evan, Marisa, Dabrejah, and Bosiah.

Tammy was preceded in death by her father, Arthur and grandfather, Lucky.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Friday November 13, 2009 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, Kansas. Interment will follow at New Salem Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 4 to 8 P.M. the family will greet visitors that evening.

A memorial has been established to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
