Susan "Dianne" Mast, 71, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Born March 31, 1954, in Arthur, Illinois, she was the daughter of Eli and Mattie (Troyer) Mast.  She was raised and received her education in Illinois and moved to Florida following high school.  In Florida, she had her son, Jan, and moved back to Illinois to raise him.  In 1994, she and Jan moved to Branson, Missouri, until Jan left for the United States Navy in 1996.  Dianne briefly lived in Texas and New Mexico before settling in southeast Kansas.

She worked in the hospitality industry.  She was an independent woman and a free spirit.  She enjoyed planting flowers to decorate her porch, trying new restaurants and casinos with her bestie, and was a diehard Kansas City Chief's fan.

Her family includes her son Jan (Akemi), and grandson Zack Mast of Chula Vista, CA; and her sisters, Debbie Kingery of Arthur, IL and Vicki (Cricket) Simons of Eddyville, IL.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial services will be held at Island Park's Rotary Pavilion in Winfield at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, October 25, 2025, under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
