Steven DeWitt, 57, Winfield, passed away January 30, 2021.

Born to Ronald and Billie Jean (Thomas) DeWitt on May 21, 1963 in Caney, Kansas. He married Kathy Montgomery on September 23, 1982. The couple made their home in Winfield where Steven worked as a painter for Grief Brothers. He enjoyed fishing.

His family includes wife Kathy; children, Samantha DeWitt; Amy Leake; Keith Montgomery; Gina Montgomery; six sisters; two brothers; and 21 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister and his mother.

Private family services will be held later under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established to help defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
