Stephanie Rae Williams, 46, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away at her home on January 11, 2023.

Born May 24, 1976, in Covina, California, she was the daughter of Stephen and Deanna (Price) Williams. She was raised and received her education in West Covina where she graduated high school. Stephanie then attended Kansas State University where she obtained her Bachelor of Science and Master's in Psychology. She worked as a counselor in a variety of places including a women's shelter and a methadone drug rehab clinic.

Stephanie was a member of First United Methodist Church in Winfield. She enjoyed flower gardening, scrapbooking, and making jewelry. She especially loved to travel and take care of animals.

Her family includes her children, Seph Williams of Winfield; Diana Williams of Lawrence; her parents, Stephen and Deanna Williams of Winfield; her sister Stacy Williams of Wichita; her aunt Jeanette Price of California; and numerous cousins.

Graveside memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Friday, January 20, 2023, at Highland Cemetery under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established in Stephanie's name for the Cowley County Humane Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
