Stephen Ray Roberts, 65, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday night, July 1, 2017 at his home.
Born July 29, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas, he was the son of Leslie Edgar Roberts and Aldean Frances Marcy. Stephen was a former resident of Winfield State Hospital and Training Center. On October 7, 1996, he was admitted to Southwind ResCare in Winfield. Stephen loved anything that made noise, especially shaking keys.
Survivors include:
His guardian: Debbie Bailey of Arkansas City;
His former guardian: Dawn Warren of Seattle, WA; and
Staff and roommates at Southwind ResCare.
Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 7, 2017 at 3:30 P.M. at Highland Cemetery. Friends may call at Miles Funeral Service on Friday from 11:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M.
A memorial has been established in Stephen's name for Southwind Rescare. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
