Stella Yvonne Norman, 43, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Thursday, September 1, 2016 at her home.

Born February 3, 1973 in Chanute, Kansas, she was the daughter of Jack Benjamin and Bobby Marie (Jones) Riley. She was raised and received her early education in Chanute and when she was 12 years old moved to Arkansas City where she attended high school.

Stella worked as a Certified Nurse's Assistant at many area nursing homes as well as working in home health care. She was united in marriage to James Norman on March 26, 2004 in Independence, Missouri. The couple made their first home in Olathe, Kansas and later moved to Wichita. In 2012, they moved to Winfield, Kansas. She enjoyed watching TV, reading, working jigsaw puzzles and especially enjoyed collecting Mickey Mouse memorabilia.

Her mother: Bobby Riley of Winfield;
Her sisters: Stacie Conley and husband, Jarrid of Olathe; Chelsea Riley of Arkansas City; Her brother: Derek Riley of Olathe; and
Her 18 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.

Stella was preceded in death by her father, Jack Riley.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation has been effected.

A memorial has been established in Stella's name to defray funeral expenses. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
