STELLA LUCILE BRILL, 98, of Udall, Kansas, went to be with her Lord and her husband, Friday afternoon, December 9, 2011.
Born on April 5, 1913 in rural Rock, Kansas, she was the daughter of Robert A. and Lela Grace (Faulkingham) Wilson. She was and received her education in Rock and later Isabel, Kansas.
She was united in marriage to Irvin Boyd Brill on November 23, 1931 near Isabel, Kansas and lived for over 70 years in the Rock, Atlanta and Udall communities. Stella was a fulltime homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Atlanta and later attended the First United Methodist Church in Udall. She enjoyed spending time with her family, knitting and crocheting.

Her sons: Harold Ray Brill and wife Kay of Udall, KS; and Robert Brill and wife Patsy of Udall, KS;
Her daughters: Ruth Bailey and husband Willard of Wellington, KS; Margaret George of Tulia, TX; and Donna Daniels of Udall, KS;
Her sisters: Emma Twibble and Edith Spencer both of El Dorado, KS;
Her 18 grandchildren, 53 great-grandchildren and 26 great great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Irvin Dean Brill; her brothers, John, Frank, Edmund and Fredrick Wilson; her sisters, Edna Wilson Grace Morgan and Mary Etta Prewitt; a grandchild, three great grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church in Udall. Interment will follow at Udall Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M., Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. The family will greet friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M., that evening.
A memorial has been established in Stella's name with Riverview Manor in Oxford where she had resided for the past four years. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
