Stanley Kenton Harp, 66,
of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away November 1, 2017 at Blackwell Regional Hospital in Blackwell, Oklahoma.
Stanley was born September 8, 1951 in Winfield to Marlyn and Blaine Harp. His greatest love was spending time with his wife of 34 years, Dorothy Kay Harp. He served the communities he lived in across Kansas and Colorado, being in law enforcement. One of his proudest moments was being honored by John Walsh of "America's Most Wanted" for the capture of a dangerous criminal wanted in several states.

His wife, Dorothy Kay Harp of Blackwell, OK;
His sister: Kim Pringle and husband, Jack of Winfield;
His nephew: Craig Pringle and wife, Megan of Winfield;
His niece: Carrie Bond and husband, William of Winfield; and
His step daughter: Kathy Havens and husband, Paul of Blackwell, OK.
He was an amazing grandparent to eight step grandchildren. To know Stanley was to appreciate his kind and caring heart.
Graveside funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. at Highland Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
A memorial has been established in Stanley's name for the Autism Research Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
