Sound Phengphanh, 56, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at his home in Winfield, Kansas, after a battle with liver cancer.

Mr. Phengphanh was born on February 1, 1968, in Laos.  He was a hard worker employed by Rubbermaid.  He enjoyed fishing and sharing his catch with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Sia and daughter Nia.  He is also survived by his brother Thavone and sisters, Phat, Phet, and Vieng.

Mr. Phengphanh was preceded in death by his parents, Houy and Phanh.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2024, at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.  A visitation is scheduled at the funeral home on Friday afternoon from noon to 4 P.M.
