Souksakone Kevin Mienphilom, 29, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday afternoon, February 28, 2025, at Ascension Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.

Born September 16, 1995, in Amarillo, Texas, he was the son of Sonephet and Matsa (Phaengdara) Mienphilom.  He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 2014.  In 2016, he began working for Samsung and worked his way up to Sales Consultant Manager.

Kevin enjoyed fishing, going to the beach, playing video games, and trading cards, especially Yu-Gi-Oh.  He was a friend to all.  He especially loved his K9 companion Kenshin.

Kevin's family includes his parents, Sonephet and Matsa Mienphilom of Winfield; his sister Kelley Mienphilom and fiance, Jason Do of Olathe; his brother Touthy Mienphilom of Wichita; and extended family, Khamnang Sithara, Phanh and Nouth Phaengdara, Lop Mienphilom, Vont Paul Mien, Sone Pratommarath, Phetsamone Louangrath, Lamphone Mienphilom, John Mienphilom, Joy Mienphilom, Thavone Mienphilom, Manivanh and Kong Bounleutay, Mangkone and Jeff Voigt, Nophalat and Nok Phaengdara, Khinaphanh and Seng Phaengdara, Chanida Phaengdara Potter and Michael Potter, and Chad Chalousinh Phaengdara.

Buddhist funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.  Cremation will follow at Cornejo Crematory in Wellington.  A visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, March 5 from 4 to 6 P.M.
