Sisouk Phothisane, 63, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday, December 2, 2016 at Via Christi St. Francis in Wichita.

Sisouk was born on May 15, 1953 in Savanhnakheth, Laos. He graduated from Fargnoum High School in Savanhnakheth and earned his Bachelor's Degree in Russia in 1984. Sisouk came to the United States in 1990. He was married to Kone Noravong on June 24, 2000 in Kansas City and obtained his Master's of Arts in Christian Ministry from Lao Conference of Churches in 2004.

In 2006, Sisouk was ordained to be a Pastor of Laos Mission in Winfield. Rev. Sisouk enjoyed serving the Lord with his love and care.

His sisters: Khone and Nith.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Central Baptist Church in Winfield. A visitation will be held at Miles Funeral Service on Friday evening from 4 to 6 P.M.

A memorial has been established in Sisouk's name for the Lao Baptist Church of Winfield. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
