Shirley Chambers' Obituary
SHIRLEY CHAMBERS, 62, of Dexter, Kansas, passed away January 20, 2011 at her home.
Born January 4, 1949, she was the daughter of Lyle and Mildred Chambers. She was the granddaughter of Albert & Gladys Chambers. Lyle, Shirley's father, was a Wyoming "wildcater" frequently away from home chasing dream oil fields. Mildred, Shirley's mother, worked as an RN at Winfield State Hospital & TC. Albert and Gladys both passed away in the mid 80's. Lyle and both his daughters graduated from Dexter High School. Shirley was a lifelong resident of Dexter other than a few short years when she was away at college and starting her young adult life.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Ruth Harrell.
No services are pending. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
