Sheryl A. Dunbar, 53, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday afternoon, November 27, 2020 at Watercrest Cherry Creek Assisted Living in Wichita.

Born February 26, 1967 in Topeka, Kansas, she was the daughter of Floyd and Wilma Stuckey. She was raised and received her education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1985. She then worked as a CNA at Winfield Rest Haven, Good Samaritan Village, and Riverview Manor. Sheryl returned to school at Butler County Community College where she earned her associate degree in Business Administration.

She was united in marriage to Charles Dunbar on March 24, 2001 at First Christian Church in Winfield. The couple made their home in Winfield where Sheryl worked in childcare.

She was a member of First Christian Church in Winfield and Central Community Church in Wichita. She enjoyed reading, traveling, being in nature, and spending time with loved ones.

Her family includes her husband Charles Dunbar of Winfield; her son Matthew Stuckey of Winfield; her daughter Mercedes Dunbar of Wichita; her mother Wilma Garrison of Hesston; her sister Pamela Stuckey of Oxford; and her grandchildren, Arianna Clark, and Jeremy and Wyatt Birner.

Sheryl was preceded in death by her father, Floyd Stuckey.

Memorial services will be held Monday, December 7, 2020 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

A memorial has been established in Sheryl's name for Central Community Church in Wichita. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
