SHARON SUE REED, 70, of Winfield, Kansas, went to be with God on Wednesday morning, August 4, 2010.
She was born May 20, 1940 in Omaha, Nebraska to Howard Glen and Edna Marie (Potter) Campbell. She was raised and received her education in Omaha.
Sharon was formerly married to Eugene Hartig and Alfred L. Reed. She worked at Highland Manor, Binney and Smith, and at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center. She retired due to failing health in 1997.
Sharon was a member of the Church of Christ in Anthony, where she was baptized six weeks ago. She enjoyed Omaha, Nebraska football, traveling, cooking and gardening. She especially loved her grandchildren and spending time with them.

Her daughters: Deborah Bergagnini of Winfield; Patty Fox and husband, Gary of Anthony; Jeanne Schodde of Wichita; and Christina Reed of Antioch, California;
Her 7 siblings; 13 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two siblings, and her son-in-law, Tony Bergagnini.
Graveside Memorial services will be held on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 9:00 A.M. at Highland Cemetery.
A Memorial has been established in Sharon's name for the National Emphysema Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
