Scott M. Wall, 56, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday evening, March 1, 2021 at his home.

Born June 16, 1964 in Cedar Vale, Kansas, he was the son of Jack L. and Nadine F. (Seaman) Wall. He was raised and received his education in Cedar Vale, graduating from Cedar Vale High School in 1982. Following high school, he attended Cowley County Community College where he received an Associates degree in Animal Science.

Scott worked for a short time at Valley Coop in Hackney before returning to school at Wichita Area Technical College and receiving a degree in nursing. He worked for over 25 years as a nurse in the Winfield area, including working at Cumbernauld Village, the Kansas Veterans Home, and Easter Seals Capper Foundation. Scott's joy was being with and caring for his children and grandchildren.

His family includes his children, Chantiel Galdamez and husband, William of Arkansas City; Taggart Wall and wife, Elizabeth of Winfield; Charissa Wall of Winfield; his brother Bill Wall and wife, Debbie of Cedar Vale; and his grandchildren Carmen, Lexy, Ashlynn, Anderson, Elias, and Eloise.

In addition to his parents, Scott was preceded in death by an aunt and uncle, Doyle and Frances Seaman, and his best friend and cousin, Darin Seaman.

Graveside funeral services will be held Thursday, March 4, 2021 at 2:00 P.M. at Cedar Vale Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors during this time.

A memorial has been established in Scott's name for his grandchildren's education. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
