SAUDRA JANEAN CHRISTENSEN, 72, of Fertile, MN, formerly of Kansas, died on Friday, March 30, 2012 at the Fair Meadow Nursing Home in Fertile, MN.

Saundra was born in Joplin, MO, to Everett and Dorothy (McIntosh) Brock on January 21, 1940. She attended and graduated from Plainview High School in Wichita in 1958.

She was united in marriage to Gary Christensen in Wichita, KS. They lived in Dallas, TX and Garland, TX before moving back to Kansas in the early 1990's. In the early 2000's, Saundra moved to Fertile, MN.

She had a deep love for family and friends. She attended Hope Evangelical Free Church in Fertile. She enjoyed baking, sewing, working puzzles and collecting cabbage patch dolls and angels.

Saundra is survived by:
Her brothers: Larry Brock and wife, Dolores of Wichita; and Jimmy Brock and wife, Becky of Winfield;
Her nieces: Angela and Michelle;
Her nephews: Tracy, David, Richard and Jamie;
Her grandchildren: Amanda, Christopher and Kerry;
Her great granddaughter: Alice;
Her extended family: The Bohrer family, special friends from the Hope Evangelical Free Church and Norma and Nikki Rodvik; and
Many cousins.

Saundra was preceded in death by her daughter, Maralee Frazier and her parents, Dorothy and Everett Brock.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at the First United Methodist Church in Winfield. The Reverend Beth Wilke will officiate. Family inurnment will take place following the service at Restlawn Memorial Park in Coffeyville, Kansas.
