Rosalinda "Linda" Lopez, 78, went to be with her Heavenly Father on June 23, 2023.

Linda was born to Manuel and Paula (Flores) Prado on February 19, 1945.  She was raised in Donna, Texas and later moved to Groesbeck, Texas, where she met and married the love of her life, Felix Lopez.  Linda spent the majority of her life being a wife and mother.  Due to her loving nature, she was called Mom by all that met her.

Linda and Felix were united in marriage on June 23, 1980 and were married until his death in 2003.  Linda did not remarry and often said that Felix was her one true love.  Later in life, she enjoyed spending time watching Hallmark Murder and Mystery shows, horror movies, and Murder She Wrote.  Anyone that knew Linda, understood her love for Elvis.  Her love of Elvis was so great that she accumulated a vast collection of Elvis memorabilia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Felix Lopez, siblings, Rogelio Prado, Manuel Prado, Jr., Elizabeth Pineda, Angelita Garcia, and grandchildren, Jeffery Beatty-Lopez, Daryl Ferguson, and Eric Garay.

Linda is survived by siblings, Julia Garcia, Margarita Oliva, Juanita Zamora, Paul Prado, and Edwardo Prado; her children, Adam Lopez and husband, Chris, Tammy Galvan and husband, Pascual, John Lopez and wife, Amber, Leticia Lopez, Jose Lopez and wife, Debbie, Felix Lopez, Jr., Rosa Hernandez, Guadalupe Garay and husband Anselmo, Erasmo Lopez, Gerardo Lopez and wife, Martha, Jerry Bell and wife Samantha, Johnny Bell, Jennifer Wyers and husband, Michael, and Judy Ferguson; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M., Thursday, June 29, 2023, at Miles Funeral Service.  Private interment will take place at a later date.  A visitation is scheduled on Wednesday evening from 4 to 6 P.M., and the Rosary recited at 6 P.M., both at the funeral home.
