Ronald Wayne Moore's Obituary
Ronnie Moore, 70, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Wednesday evening, January 20, 2016 at his home in Winfield.
Born November 8, 1945 in El Dorado, Kansas, he was the son of Beeson Lee and Evelyn Minnie (Engwell) Moore. Ronnie lived at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center until it's closing. He then moved to Focus Developmental and in July of 1997, he began residing with Mosaic in Winfield.
He attended Spiritual Enhancement Circle at Redeemer Lutheran Church in Arkansas City. His favorite past times were relaxing in his room, watching television or listening to music, and spending time outside when the weather allows. He enjoyed any activity that involved music or food.
His family includes:
His guardian: Marsha Branch of Winfield; and
His two half sisters and several caregivers at Mosaic in Winfield.
Ronnie was preceded in death by his mother.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery.
A memorial has been established in Ronnie's name for Mosaic. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
