Ronald "Ronnie" Lee Greer went home to the Lord above on September 6, 2021, at 71 years young at Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center in Wichita.

Ronnie was born and raised to Raleigh and Eulalia Greer on December 19, 1949, in Winfield.  He went on to graduate high school at Winfield High and attended Cowley County Community College and Southwestern College.  He also served in the Army for some years.

In the year 1973, Ronnie welcomed his one and only son, Mario Crawford on June 14 ^th .

Ronnie met his wife, Tonya in Winfield, and married on May 9, 2009.  Through this loving marriage, he was blessed with a daughter named Reanna and three stepchildren.

In addition to being a dedicated husband and loving father, Ronnie also loved serving the Lord and helping others.  He could build a house from the foundation up and loved fishing.  Throughout his entire life, he held an unwavering faith in God, which he shared with those who surrounded him with his kindness and unforgettable personality.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Raleigh and Eulalia Greer, and his two brothers Gary and Richard "Butch" Greer.

He leaves to cherish his memory is two children, Mario Crawford of Wichita; Reanna Greer of Winfield; his wife, Tonya Greer and three stepchildren of Winfield; his sisters, Kimberly Greer-Duru of Wichita; Charlene "Joan" Baptista; his granddaughter, TaNeal Bollinger of Stillwater, OK; great granddaughter, Addarah Bollinger; and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M., on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.  Private family inurnment will take place at Highland Cemetery.

A memorial has been established in Ronald's name for Second Baptist Church in Winfield.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
