Ronald L. "Ron" Hudkins, 80, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away March 21, 2019 at his home.

Born May 28, 1938 in Hewitt Island, Nebraska, he was the son of Royal Lee and Irene (Kreidl) Hudkins. In 1945, Ron went to live at the Winfield State Hospital and Training Center until 1971. He moved a few times before settling at Easter Seals Capper Foundation in Winfield. Ron enjoyed volunteer activities within Easter Seals as well as the community. He loved bowling, going to the movies, and going to church. He was very spiritual and social.

Survivors include his guardian Beverly Jenkins of Winfield; and his caregivers and friends at Easter Seals Capper Foundation.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial services will be held on Thursday, March 28, 2019 at 2:00 P.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

A memorial has been established in Ron's name for Easter Seals Capper Foundation. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
