Robin Leonard, 56, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away November 7, 2020 at Winfield Rest Haven.

Born May 9, 1964 in Stuttgart, Germany, she was the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Nason) McMurray. Robin was a military brat and grew up in many countries and cities. She settled in Winfield in 1996. Robin worked as a nanny as a young lady and later in food service. She began working in delis and bakeries and eventually worked at nursing homes.

Robin was of the Jewish faith. She enjoyed playing pac-man, listening to murder mysteries, cows, and listening to music, especially Fleetwood Mac and Disturbed.

Her family includes her sons, James Leonard, III of Arkansas City; Jon Leonard and wife, Michelle of Ft. Stewart, GA; Xavier Leonard of Winfield; her mother Shirley McMurray of NJ; her sister Tracy McMurray and husband, James of Sicklerville, NJ; her brother Michael McMurray of NJ; and her grandchildren, Lilianna Leonard, and Holly and Krysta Leonard.

Robin was preceded in death by her father.

The family will hold a Celebration of Life at a later date.  Cremation is under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

A memorial has been established in Robin's name for the Autism Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
