Roberta Clements, 76, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday morning, November 15, 2008 at the Dexter Care Center.
Born on April 28, 1932 in McAlester, OK, she was the daughter of John and Ruby (Merrell) Cooper. She was raised and received her education in Parsons, Kansas graduating from Parsons High School. She then attended Labette Community College graduating with an Associates Degree. Later she attended Pittsburgh State University.
Roberta was married to James Clements. They attempted to have children. Her marriage ended in divorce. Roberta was a teacher during and after her marriage. She taught elementary school for many years in Winfield. She was a service to the community. She moved back to Kansas to be near her mother in Parsons. She was dedicated to the care of her mother during the last years of her life.
Roberta enjoyed reading, and especially loved animals.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday November 22 at 10:00 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield, KS. Interment will follow at Memorial Lawn Cemetery in Parsons, KS.
A memorial has been established in Roberta's name for Unified School District #465. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
