ROBERT "MIKE" CROWLEY, 64, of Atlanta, Kansas, passed away Friday afternoon, August 12, 2011 at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital in Wichita.

Born September 4, 1946 in Winfield, he was the son of Buford and Devota (Gregory) Crowley. He was raised and received his education in Atlanta, graduating from Atlanta High School.

Mike worked at Cessna Aircraft Company and later at Rubbermaid for over twenty years, but he made farming his main occupation. He farmed crops as well as had cows and in his younger years, even some hogs. He loved farming and taking care of his cows. When he was younger, he also enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.

His children: Gayle Reiswig and husband, Tim of El Dorado; Robert Crowley and wife, Rebecca of Winfield; Rick Crowley and wife, Dorthy of Cambridge; Joe Bruce and wife, Tonya of Atlanta; and Jay Bruce of Atlanta;
His brother: Dale Crowley and wife, Marilyn of Winfield;
His sisters: Rogene Libby and husband, Ed of Whitewater; and Janiece Camp and husband, Dave of Wichita;
His grandchildren: Bayley, Brendon, Cory, Michael, Amber, Jurnee, Cassie, Christina, Bo, Maci and Danielle; and
His great grandsons: James and Trenton.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Miles Funeral Service. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Cemetery near Atlanta. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday evening from 5 to 8. The family will greet visitors during this time.
