On Tuesday, February 8, 2022, Robert Floyd "Bob" Ellis passed from this life at the age of 76.

Bob was born on May 24, 1945, in Wichita, Kansas, to Floyd C. and Dollie J. (Fromm) Ellis.  The family moved around often following Bob's father's job in construction.  Bob was raised in Oklahoma for the majority of his childhood. He always enjoyed spending time with his grandmother, Sudie Fromm, in Winfield and on her property north of Cambridge.

Bob was married for a time bringing him his son, Morgan Allen Ellis.  He worked in construction his entire life, owning his own company and working as superintendent over many jobs for several different companies.  Bob's job took him to many places.

Bob loved the outdoors.  He enjoyed fishing, hunting and riding his horse.

His family includes his two sisters, Virginia Sue Daukei (husband, Link) and Mary Elizabeth Nally; a brother, Melvin Hiilier; a brother-in-law, Olen Hull; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Floyd and Dollie, Bob was preceded in death by his sisters, Rebecca Wilmes, Katheryn Hull, Jeannie Ellis; and his son, Morgan Allen Ellis.

Private memorial services will be held at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
