Raymond LeRoy Scadden, 91, of Wichita, passed away February 6, 2024.

Born January 20, 1933 in Grant City, Missouri, he was the son of Eardley and Eve Inez (Steele) Scadden.  He was raised and educated in St. Joseph, Missouri, graduating from Central High School in 1951.

He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Schultz on October 30, 1954 in St. Joseph.  The couple made their home in Topeka, Kansas, and later Wichita, Kansas, where Ray made his career in Banking and Finance.  During his career, he served as President of Seneca State Bank and Maize State Bank in the Wichita area.

His family includes his wife, Barbara of Wichita; his daughter Gail Trenary and husband, Ron of Wichita; and his two grandchildren.

Graveside services with Military Committal Honors will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 12, 2024 at the Kansas Veterans Cemetery in Winfield, under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.
