Raymond Jurado, 85, of Wichita, passed away Wednesday morning, July 21, 2021 at the Larksfield Place Health Center in Wichita.

Born October 25, 1935, in Winfield, he was the son of Bonifacio and Adriana Jurado.  Raymond was raised and received his education in Winfield.  After high school, he was drafted into the U.S. National Guard.

Raymond spent his career working at Eby Construction in Wichita.  He retired from the company in 1987.  In his free time, Raymond enjoyed reading, working on his lawn, and taking a drive around town.

He is survived by his son, Philip Jurado.

In addition to his parents, Raymond is preceded in death by his siblings, Lupe, Bonnie, Manuel, Lee, Cora, Antonia, Jessie, and Juanita.

Cremation has taken place under the direction of Miles Funeral Service in Winfield.  A private burial will be scheduled at St. Mary's Cemetery in Winfield at a later date.
