Raymond L. German, 54, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Saturday evening, December 12, 2015 at his home.
Born April 6, 1961 in Colorado, he was the son of Richard and Barbara German. He was raised and received his education in Arlington, Kansas. He then attended Southwestern College in Winfield to become a Paramedic, graduating in 1981.
Ray immediately began working for Winfield EMS. He was married to Wanda Sue Shelton on May 3, 1988. The couple had two children. Ray retired from Winfield EMS in 1993. He then became the Respiratory Director at William Newton Hospital, retiring in 2014. He enjoyed his race car, guns and ham radio.

His daughters: Christina Jumper and her children, Lane, Terri and Tyla; and Anastasia Quint and husband, Kyle and their daughter Kasey and one on the way.
Ray was preceded in death by his father.
The family will hold private memorial services at a later date. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
