Obituary

Raymond Dean Bell, 81 passed away quietly in his home with those he loved on September 11, 2020.

He is survived by his wife Geneva and they were fortunate to enjoy 63 years of marriage before his passing. He is also survived by daughter Robin Burnside (Philip), Valley Center, KS, and a brother Glenn Bell of Wichita. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Arthur and Lenora Bell, and daughter Rhonda Lewallen. Ray has four grandchildren: Drew Morris (Nick), Princeton, MO; Lynne Davidson (Mark), Wichita, KS; Alex Warren (Katie), Wichita, KS; and Grant Warren (McKinsey Millspaugh), Wichita, KS. Ray has five great-grandchildren: Cailynn, Kinslee, Mason, Dane and Andie, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ray was a mechanic and farmer, but he will be remembered as a loving husband and father. He enjoyed a life of hunting, motorcycling, camping, fishing, and boating on nearby lakes. In recent years, he enjoyed his cowboy movies and football. He loved a good fish fry and to laugh. He will be remembered for his endless stories and jokes.

The family will celebrate his life in a private gathering.

A memorial has been established in Ray's name for the National Kidney Foundation. Contributions may be made through Miles Funeral Service.
