Obituary

RANDY B. HUSSER, 50, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday morning, May 21, 2010 at William Newton Hospital in Winfield.

Born on October 28, 1959 in Charleston, South Carolina, he was the son of James and Gladys (Garvin) Husser. He was raised and received his education in Winnfield, LA. He later served in the United States Army as first sergeant. Randy met Arlene Mitchell in 2006 and the moved to Winfield, Kansas.

He was a dedicated member of the Second Baptist Church in Winfield, Kansas. He loved spending time with his family, fishing, hunting, yard work and working on cars. Randy spent a lot of time helping children in Winfield with guidance and love. He was known to many as "Dad", "Hussdogg" and "Old School". He loved everyone and never met a stranger.

His sons: Dustin Schwerdtfager of Winfield, KS; and Terrill Riser and wife Vicky of Winnfield, LA;
His daughters: Amanda Bryon of Wichita, KS; Ashley Schwerdtfager of Winfield, KS; Brittney Husser of Charleston, SC; Tashelle Riser of Winnfield, LA; and Brandy Husser of Charleston, SC;
His mother: Gladys Glover of Charleston, SC;
His brothers: Alvin Hollingsworth, Jr., of Ft. Sumner, LA; and James Husser of Winnfield, LA;
His sisters: Patrician Bryant of Summerville, SC; Gardenia Moore of Winnfield, LA; Lou Aiken of Summerville, SC; and Lillie Mason of Ohio;
His 10 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Husser and his brother, Clyde Husser.

Memorial services were held on Wednesday, May 26, 2010 at 6:00 P.M. at the Second Baptist Church in Winfield.
