Obituary

RANDY GENE HOTCHKIN, 57, of Arkansas City, Kansas, passed away Saturday, August 8, 2009 as a result of a motorcycle accident.

Born June 4, 1952 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Don and Shirley (Snook) Hotchkin. He was raised and educated in the Winfield area.

Randy drove a truck and was a mechanic all his life, until becoming disabled in 2002. He loved riding his 2009 Harley Sportster and riding around in his 1985 Chevy Stepside. His passion for life was working on cars, and teaching his boys the trade.

His family includes:
His sons: Randall Scott Hotchkin of Newkirk, OK; Curtis Moody and wife Naoma of Oxford; Michael Hotchkin of Oxford; and Joshua Hotchkin of Newkirk, OK;
His daughters: Christina and husband, Bob of Blackwell, OK; and Jenny Hotchkin of Newkirk, OK;
His step-father: Wayne Grant of Winfield;
His brothers: Steve Hotchkin of Winfield; and Darrell Hotchkin and wife, Phyllis of Burden;
His sister-in-law: Carol Johnson of Arkansas City; and
His grandchildren: Liberty Jo Ann and Cameron Lee.

Randy was preceded in death by his mother and father, his brother, Don Johnson, and two grandchildren, Abigail and Donny Moody.

Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2009 at 10:30 A.M. at Highland Cemetery. Miles Funeral Service is in charge of arrangements.
