Randy Dale Gordon of rural Atlanta, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on January 30, 2021.

Born September 17, 1954 in Winfield, Kansas, he was the son of Dale and Alta (Totman) Gordon.  Randy was raised on the farm he lived on today and graduated from Central High School in Burden.

He married Pamela Parsons in 1979.  To this union, two children were born, Kristy and Mark.  The couple later divorced.

He married Cindi Martin on November 6, 2013 in Douglass, Kansas.  Randy was a lifetime farmer and rancher.  He was a good mechanic.  He had cared for the Gordon family farm which had been in his family for 115 years.  In his younger years, he worked in the oil patch on several drilling rigs.  He enjoyed farming and raising cattle.

Randy was a longtime member of the K & O Steam & Gas Engine Association, and especially enjoyed working on gas engines.  He was a member of the Atlanta volunteer fire department.

He is survived by his wife Cindi Gordon, of Atlanta; his children, Kristy and Karly Gordon, of Wichita; Mark and Brandi Gordon, of Winfield; his grandchildren, Jasmine Gordon, Levi Gordon, and Katie Gordon; his sister Gloria Ulbrich and Rick, of Winfield; his niece Crystal Ulbrich Kochenhower and Brett of Wichita; and his dog, best friend, and co-pilot C.J.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, aunts, and uncles.

Private family services will be held at a later date under the direction of Miles Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a memorial for the Alzheimer's Association.  Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
