Obituary

Randall C. Watt, 80, of Cambridge, Kansas, passed away Monday morning December 30, 2013 at AMG Specialty Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.

He was born on December 12, 1933 in Winfield, Kansas to Elmer P. and Mary (Fuller) Watt. Randall graduated from Cambridge High School in 1952, was an active member on the basketball team, and inherited the nickname of Watty. He was raised and remained in the Cambridge area his entire life and acquired numerous friends over the years.

Randall was a member of the Cambridge Presbyterian Church. He was engaged in farming and heavy equipment business.

Randall was united in marriage to Marilyn Smith on December 12, 1954. They welcomed two children into their lives, Randall Neil and Susan Marlene.

His family includes:
His wife: Marilyn Watt of Cambridge;
His son: Neil Watt and wife, Cheryl of Cambridge;
His daughter: Susan Topper and husband, Steve of Winfield;
His grandchildren: Jared Watt of Cambridge; Kelly Grow and husband, Jake of Latham; Emily Watt of Winfield; Kelsey Topper and boyfriend, James Pike of Wichita; and
Several nieces, nephews and his beloved dogs Katie and Sadie.

In addition to his parents Randall was preceded in death by a brother, Fuller Watt and an infant brother.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at Miles Funeral Service in Winfield. A private family inurnment will be held at Highland Cemetery in Winfield at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting memorial gifts be honored in Randall's name to the Cambridge Presbyterian Church. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
