Randall Ray Foust, 57, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Monday, June 9, 2025, at his home.
Born June 8, 1968, in Wichita, Kansas, he was the son of Clarence and Carlene (Shields) Foust. He was raised and received his education in Tulsa and Cleveland, Oklahoma, and Winfield, Kansas. He graduated from Memorial High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1987. After school, Randy lived and worked in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas, working as a Security Guard and later in the construction field.
He was united in marriage to Tammie Lawless on November 24, 2004 in Winfield where the couple made their home. Randy started his career as a Corrections Officer in 2002 at the Winfield Correctional Facility. He remained there for many years, retiring in 2021. After retiring, he worked at First Council Casino before taking a position as a Jailer with the Cowley County Sheriff Department.
He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Winfield. He enjoyed paracord handcrafts, cooking, woodworking, taking care of people, and spending time with family. He was the best handyman around.
His family includes his wife Tammie Foust of Winfield; his mother Carlene Foust of Winfield; his step-dad Dave Smith of Broken Arrow, OK; his brother Tony Foust and wife, Connie of Norman, OK; his sisters, Debra McLaughlin and husband, Colbert of Winfield; Brenda Foust Doak and husband, Gary of Muskogee, OK; his son Doug Sivils of Winfield; his daughter Lauren Walters and husband, Ryan of Broken Arrow, OK; his step-daughter Vanessa Carter of Gary, IN; and his grandchildren, Heaven, Nalayah, Ezra, Judah, Dexter, Zipporah, and Grayson.
Randy was preceded in death by his father Clarence Foust, a nephew Matthew McLaughlin, step-son Graham Springer, and his aunt Carol Shields.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 19, 2025, at Central Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery. A visitation is scheduled at Miles Funeral Service on Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. The family will greet visitors from 5 to 7 that evening.
A memorial has been established in Randy's name for the American Cancer Society. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
