Randal Asper, 63, of Winfield, Kansas, passed away Friday afternoon, April 15, 2016 at his home.
Born March 17, 1953 in Wellington, Kansas, he was the son of Leonidas Carson and Thelma Mae (Kerr) Asper. He was raised and received his education in Winfield, graduating from Winfield High School in 1971. After school he joined the United States Air Force and proudly served his country. While in the Air Force he was trained to be a sheet metal mechanic. Upon his honorable discharge he retuned to Winfield.
Randal was united in marriage to Angelia Sue "Angie" Lowry on August 10, 1990 in Mesa, Arizona. Randal's work as a sheet metal mechanic took him all over the country including: Little Rock, Arkansas; Long Beach, California; Dallas, Texas; Euless, Texas; and Mesa, Arizona. In 1992 the family returned to Winfield to be near family.
He was a member of the First Christian Church in Winfield. He enjoyed working with his hands, carpentry, working on cars and old bicycles.

His grandchildren: Jayden Lutes; Teagan Asper; and Madelyn Asper.
Randal was preceded in death by his mother.
